Kazakhstan is a transcontinental country straddling Europe and Asia, and is bordered by the Caspian Sea to the west, Russia to the north, China to the east, and Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan to the South. The territory covers some 2.7 million square kilometers with total population of 16 million, which makes it one of the largest middle Asian countries. It is also one of the CIS countries, ever since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, which enjoys political stability and a relatively high living standard.

Stability comes with economic prosperity. As living standard increases continuously, the demand for beverages grow into a trend of diversification. Many soft drink manufacturers noticed the opportunity and considering enlarging the production, launching new green products with better tastes. As the machines left from the former Soviet Union cannot meet the need for mass production any more, and the national industry is relatively lagging behind, it makes it tough for the manufacturers. However, the imported equipment from Krones and KHS are way too high and it costs a fortune for the after-sales services, which makes it difficult for the Kazakhstan manufacturers to afford. At this very stage, China lightens the hope by the fast growing manufacturing industry and its geographical proximity with Kazakhstan, and Newamstar machines gave a good example of China made quality.

Ever since the international business department was founded, Newamstar management level already farsightedly predicted the market potential of the former Soviet Union countries, and invested resources and personnel in developing the market. Kazakhstan was listed among the key markets due to the large population and its leading GDP per capita of all CIS countries. After a few years, Newamstar finally got its position on the Kazakhstan market and started cooperating with local well-known companies, and the cooperation field ranges from large and small bottled water, CSD, juice, etc. And now it has been years since Newamstar successfully gained the solid position in Kazakhstan.

Due to the Newamstar reputation, solid technical capability, and good aftersales services, NIK-1 showed strong cooperation willingness at the very first NIK-1 project. In 2011, NIK-1 signed a 1,500BPH(5L) water line and a 6,000BPH(1L) dairy product line at the same time. It was a sensational piece of news within the Kazakhstan beverage industry and even drew attention from Mr. President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Despite from his busy work, he personally visited NIK-1 factory and inquired about the project.

NIK-1 is located at Shymkent, capital city of the South Kazakhstan Province. Shymkent is the second populous city in Kazakhstan with a total area of almost 300 square kilometers and population nearly 700 thousand, right after Almaty. Population growth plus economic development have made Shymkent more charming than ever.

As one of the main beverage manufacturers in Kazakhstan, NIK-1 did a thorough research before finally signing the contract. Chairman of NIK-1 together with its engineers and technicians visited China beverage market and especially came to Newamstar for several times. Going through several negotiations and evaluations, at the end, NIK-1 decided to work with Newamstar and develop the dairy product market in Kazakhstan.

According to customer’s production demand and the plant specification, also taking into account the direction of Kazakhstan’s dairy product market development, Newamstar offered a tailor-made turnkey proposal for NIK-1, including ingredient provision, liquid blending, until full bottle packaging, and was fully accepted by NIK-1 shareholders. The successful project launch showed the full-featured service and consulting solution provider style of Newamstar, also enlarged the Newamstar impact on global market and set another solid foundation for global expansion and sustained business development.

During the installation, Newamstar dispatched a group of well trained technicians to work closely with local technicians.

At work, we learnt different cultures from each other and had a great time. Stable infrared ray heating system and independent heat balance device ensure the stable temperature of the preform, even color of the bottle and increase of the output.

Special designed twice-blowing system can monitor the pressure in each mold in order to provide accurate real-time parameter for operator. It is easy for the operator to adjust the parameter and ensure the stability of bottle forming.

High-speed and high-accuracy diaphragm type filling valve: Equip air back channel which is separated from liquid carousel, by which, the air replaced from the PET bottle won’t enter liquid carousel to avoid second pollution. Equip cleaning dummy bottles which can realize online CIP.

Sanitary and washable capper:Optimized cam surface design ensures the minimum
impact force of the capper .Bottle discharging starwheel is screwing decently, so it is unnecessary to adjust the conveyor height during bottle format change.

  • Goods transition and storage – high rise shelf, tray and container.
  • Check in & out device – palletizer.
  • Check in & out distribution system – roller and chain conveyor, distributing vehicle, lifter, etc.

A double extension tunnel stacking machine is adopted in the projects of“Moon over a Fountain Co. The production line is connected with the warehouse directly, so a lot of material transfer links was saved. With advance internet technology, it realizes the resources and data sharing and connection between the ERP(enterprise resource management system), MES (manufacturing execution system) and WMS (warehouse management system) to reduce the mistakes and speed up access of the goods. In 2015, with excellent R&D design team and processing advantages of equipment manufacturing, Newamstar completed the development of automated warehouse system with tunnel stackerand RGV rail transport trolley. In the same year, Newamstar successfully presented it on CBST exhibition in Shanghai, and received wide attention from lots of companies in the industry. In 2016, automated material transport under special circumstances is solved by researching and developing non-rail AGV transport trolley. Through the introduction of advanced visual logistics simulation software FlexSimand excellent simulation designers, we can make simulation test in the project planning process, and do all kinds of system analysis and engineering verification for the model to get the final optimized the design. It can also quickly confirm the logistic equipment solution, further verify the feasibility of the project, provide improving and management basic data for the system, and reduce operating costs of production enterprises.

Currently, Newamstar are upgrading internal logistic systembased on stereoscopic warehouse system, will build automated logistics system by using AGV non-rail Intelligent trolley to distribute the raw materials, and create a new automated management system with the product lifecycle management, process management and information management.
