On the morning of September 7, Jiangsu Newamstar and China Unicom formally signed a ‘5G Smart Factory + Digital Empowerment’ strategic cooperation framework agreement, marking a new level of Newamstar‘s Smart Factory construction and digital transformation. According to the agreement, Newamstar and China Unicom will jointly carry out the construction, optimization and expansion of 5G mobile network base stations and indoor distribution systems.

The two parties will jointly promote the in-depth integration of 5G networks with new technologies such as AR, VR, and AI, focusing on the application of remote diagnosis, maintenance support, operation guidance, online training and machine vision, etc.

Newamstar and China Unicom will work together to promote the construction of this new 5G infrastructure project, to build it as a benchmark project of 5G applications in the industry, and build Newamstar as modern 5G factory that leads the industry. In addition, the two parties will also conduct all-round cooperation in the field of information services such as voice, data, WIFI, video conference, virtual private networks, work phones and so on.
